Bryah Resources Uncovers High-Grade Antimony in Due Diligence Sampling at Golden Pike Project

Bryah Resources (ASX: BYH) has identified high-grade antimony in historical sampling at the Golden Pike project in Canada.

The up-and-coming explorer exercised an option with Globex Mining earlier this month to acquire 100% of Golden Pike, which is located in New Brunswick.

The sampling program formed part of the in-depth due diligence process Bryah performed prior to exercising its option to acquire the project.

High-Grade Antimony

That due diligence work has identified significant antimony potential at Golden Pike, recording grades as high as 53% antimony in boulders from sampling Rockport Mining conducted in 2008.

Desktop studies of the historical work have also provided a wealth of geological data to guide future exploration programs, with numerous prospective areas identified.

Antimony prices have experienced a dramatic surge in recent times, from around $8,500 per metric tonne in 2019 to as high as $92,000 per metric tonne in early 2025, driven primarily by a combination of supply constraints and growing demand.

Historical Drilling Hits

A five-hole exploration drilling campaign undertaken by Globex Mining in 2016 and 2017 targeting gold at the Albright Brook area also identified antimony mineralisation.

“With supply constraints and geopolitical dynamics creating a surge in the price of antimony, it is exciting to explore the antimony opportunity identified at the Golden Pike gold project, in addition to the excellent gold opportunity provided by the project,” new chief executive officer Greg Hill said.

“After completing a robust due diligence process on the Golden Pike project, I am confident that the project will bring a step change in value to Bryah shareholders.”

Wealth of Experience

Mr Hill, who took up his role at Bryah on July 1, brings a wealth of experience to the leadership position.

An engineer and project delivery executive he has more than 30 years of experience in the resources sector, including mineral processing, feasibility studies and large-scale project execution across a diverse range of commodities.

He has held senior line management and project management roles, including 12 years of overseeing major plant design projects and managing a team of 130 engineers and designers.

“Greg’s demonstrated ability to lead complex developments from concept through to operation is what Bryah needs as we advance our strategy across existing and new assets,” chair Ian Stewart said at the time of the appointment.
