China Eastern Airlines (SHA:600115) passenger count increased 6.2% to 12.1 million in June from 11.4 million in the year-ago period, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Passenger capacity rose 6.5% to 25.4 billion available seat kilometers in June from 23.9 billion available seat kilometers a year earlier.

Freight carried grew 8.9% to 92,850 tonnes from 85,270 tonnes.

Cargo capacity increased nearly 11% to 783.5 million available freight tonne-kilometers from 707.1 million available freight tonne-kilometers, the filing said.
