1055 GMT - Bank of New York Mellon delivers a revenue milestone in its latest quarter. BNY, the world's largest custodian bank keeping records for pension funds and other institutional investors, says revenue exceeded $5 billion in 2Q, the first time in a quarter. "Only one year after the launch of our new commercial model last summer, we delivered two consecutive quarters of record sales in the first half of the year," says CEO Robin Vince. The more than 9% on-year increase in revenue was driven in part by an increase in fee revenue and net interest income. (denny.jacob@wsj.com; @pennedbyden)
