POSCO Holdings Inc. has entered into a partnership with Anson Resources, signing a memorandum of understanding to establish and operate a demonstration plant in Green River City, Utah. This initiative aims to demonstrate POSCO's Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology. Anson Resources will supply the lithium feedstock and provide the project site, while POSCO will evaluate the business potential of its DLE technology. This collaboration is part of POSCO's strategy to expand its lithium supply chain in North America and to advance its secondary battery materials segment. If successful, the companies may consider forming a strategic partnership for further collaboration.
