Honeywell International Inc. has been selected to enhance the fire alarm automation system at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport's Terminal 4. This project involves upgrading the existing system, originally installed in 2003, with modern automated devices that meet the latest UL safety standards. The enhancements aim to optimize emergency response, improve system performance, and decrease maintenance costs. A key component of the upgrade is the modernization of maps displayed to operators via the Honeywell Enterprise Buildings Integrator $(EBI)$ management system, which will help emergency responders more accurately visualize alarm locations. The upgrade, expected to be completed in 2026, underscores Honeywell's commitment to delivering innovative and reliable automation solutions, ensuring uninterrupted operations for the airport's 94,000 daily passengers.
