Axis Capital Holdings Limited has appointed Moustafa Abdelrahman as Senior Underwriter and Assistant Vice President for Renewable Energy. Based in Toronto, he will be the first Renewables property underwriter for AXIS in Canada. Abdelrahman will focus on underwriting construction and operational property risks in clean energy technologies such as wind, solar, hydroelectric, and battery storage, collaborating with teams in the US and London. He previously worked as a Senior Analyst at Brookfield Renewable and held underwriting roles at Intact Insurance.
