Stewart Information Services Corporation's UCC ONE specialized servicing group, part of Stewart Title National Commercial Services (NCS), has announced the approval of its revised and updated Policy Jacket product in the state of Delaware. This new offering aims to provide comprehensive protection for lender interests in mezzanine loans, particularly benefiting Delaware-based entities where the majority of such loans originate. The updated policy includes an optional Pledged Equity Endorsement, enhancing coverage for certificated securities pledged as collateral under Article 8 of the Uniform Commercial Code. This development marks a significant update in the industry, as there hasn't been a similar refresh in many years, according to Jeremy Poetker, Chief Underwriter at NCS. The UCC ONE team, recognized nationally for protecting personal property interests in mezzanine financing, continues to offer tailor-made solutions with this new product.
