Cloud communications platform Route Mobile (NSE:ROUTE, BOM:543228) has appointed its founder and managing director, Rajdipkumar Gupta, as chief executive officer, effective Thursday, according to a Friday filing to the Indian bourses.

Gupta takes over from Gautam Badalia, who resigned from the position, effective Thursday. Gupta will now hold the positions of managing director and CEO.

The company has also elevated Sammy Mamdani from the position of executive vice president - Group Head - Global Operations to chief operating officer of the company, with effect from Thursday.
