Corporación América Airports S.A. reported an 11.3% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic for June 2025, with a notable 14.2% rise in Argentina. International passenger traffic rose by 9.2% YoY, with a significant 14.7% increase in Argentina. Domestic passengers reached 3,395 thousand, marking an 11.7% increase from the previous year. The company highlighted four consecutive months of double-digit growth in traffic. JetSMART expanded its fleet and gained market share, carrying 127% more passengers than the previous year, while Aerolíneas Argentinas saw a 5 percentage point decline in market share yet transported 6% more passengers than in June 2024 despite a one-day worker strike. In Brazil, total passenger traffic grew by 12.5% YoY, with domestic traffic rising by 10.8% and a strong 22.9% YoY growth in international traffic. Uruguay's passenger traffic remained flat with a 0.3% increase YoY, while Ecuador saw a 1.4% rise in passenger traffic, despite a slight decline in international traffic by 0.3%. Armenia experienced a 9.3% increase in passenger traffic, bolstered by new airlines and routes. Cargo volume increased by 2.7% compared to June 2024, with positive contributions from all countries except Italy.
