0856 GMT - The sale of Reckitt Benckiser's Essential Home cleaning products division should provide some relief after market volatility threatened to derail a deal, AJ Bell says in a market comment. The British consumer goods company is refocusing its portfolio on core brands which bring in the bulk of its sales. "The price tag seems roughly in line with what the market initially hoped Reckitt might be able to achieve--so it doesn't seem like there has been a major compromise on valuation to get the deal across the line," analyst Dan Coatsworth writes. Focus now switches to the future of its troubled infant formula business Mead Johnson Nutrition which could face litigation in the future and makes a sale tougher. Shares are up 0.8% at 5,022 pence, paring earlier gains. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
