L3Harris Technologies Inc. is set to expand its solid rocket motor production capabilities with the construction of a new, extensive production campus in Camden, Arkansas. The new facilities are designed to significantly increase manufacturing capacity, allowing for rapid adaptation to current demand. This expansion, backed by a nearly half-billion-dollar investment, will comprise more than 20 buildings across 110 acres, adding over 130,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space. The project is expected to strengthen the domestic solid rocket motor industrial base and create new jobs, bolstering Arkansas's economy. L3Harris, which has been producing large solid rocket motors for over 60 years, aims to support critical defense programs and advance national security with this development.
