Technology stocks were mixed pre-bell Thursday as the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) was 0.2% higher and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) was recently down 0.4%.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) shares were up more than 3% after the company reported higher Q2 earnings and net sales.
