Major digital assets were broadly higher Friday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) lower but holding above the $117,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, shed 0.5% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 was up about 0.1%, the S&P 500 was fractionally lower, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 0.3%.
Bitcoin was down 1.5% to $117,476, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume rose 19.3% to $81.6 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, rose 3.6% to $3,552.
XRP (XRP-USD) rose 2.4%, BNB (BNB-USD) gained 1.7%, Solana (SOL-USD) rose 2%, Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) gained 9.3%, and Cardano (ADA-USD) climbed 1%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.429% at 3 p.m. ET Friday, down from 4.461% Thursday, while the five-year yield fell to 3.961% from 4.003%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry dipped 0.1% in the past 24 hours to $3.84 trillion, with trading volume up 24.7% to $256.47 billion.
