Helix Robotics Solutions Limited, a division of Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc., has secured a long-term cooperation and frame agreement with NKT A/S. This partnership designates Helix as a key service provider for NKT's T3600 subsea trencher, touted as the world's most powerful. The agreement encompasses installation, offshore operations, project engineering, and maintenance of the trencher, which will be deployed on a Helix-provided support vessel. This vessel will feature the T-1200 Jet Trencher, two work-class ROVs, and a comprehensive survey spread to facilitate NKT's cable burial and construction projects. The contract includes an initial commitment of 800 days of vessel operations over four years, starting in 2027, with potential extensions.
