The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 0.7% higher and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was down 0.6%.

Charles Schwab (SCHW) shares were up more than 4% after the company reported higher Q2 adjusted earnings and net revenue.

Interactive Brokers (IBKR) shares were up nearly 7% after the company reported higher Q2 adjusted earnings and net revenue.

Regions Financial (RF) shares were up more than 4% after the company reported higher Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue.
