dorsaVi Says Testing of Biomedical Sensors Shows RRAM Integration Improves Write Speeds, Ultra-Low-Power Operations

dorsaVi (ASX:DVL) said that an internal evaluation of RRAM-enabled biomedical sensors, conducted in Singapore, showed that Resistive Random Access Memory (RRAM) integration delivered significant gains, including up to 50 times faster write speeds, over 5,000 times faster read access, and over 10 million endurance cycles under biosignal workloads, compared with the current flash memory system, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

Ultra-low-power operation was validated, with under 200 picojoules-per-bit write energy supporting extended device uptime and smaller battery requirements.

The performance was observed in real-time electromyography and electrocardiography conditions, supporting enhanced signal tagging, processing accuracy, and clinical reliability.

Its shares rose 9% on market close.
