Iceni Gold (ASX:ICL) found high-grade gold mineralization during a recent drilling at its 14 Mile Well Gold Project's Guyer trend in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 3.65 meters at 7.46 grams per tonne gold from 151.6 meters, including 0.5 meters at 50.2 g/t gold from 153.5 meters.
The results provide guidance for an upcoming reverse circulation drill program when combined with structural data from the drilling, the filing added.
The company added that a major program of follow-up reverse circulation drilling is scheduled to commence in late July as part of the initial AU$5 million minimum expenditure commitment by Gold Road Resources (ASX:GOR) under their farm-in agreement.
The company's shares rose 4% on market close.
