Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR) appointed Pablo Salazar as the marketing advisor, and Enej Catovic as its metallurgy advisor, as it progresses the Aileron niobium-rare earth elements project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

Salazar was formerly the senior business development manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at niobium producer CBMM. Catovic was most recently technical director at Arcadium.

It also named Jardee Kininmonth as the general manager for corporate development.

Its shares rose 6% in recent trading on Wednesday.
