Kajaria Ceramics (NSE:KAJARIACER, BOM:500233) recorded a rise in its consolidated profit to 996.7 million Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 from 865.7 million rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 6.25 rupees, compared with the year-ago figure of 5.43 rupees, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the tiles manufacturer.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 inched up to 10.1 billion rupees from 10.0 billion rupees a year earlier.
The company's shares were down over 1% in recent trade.
