Guangzhou Development Group (SHA:600098) generated 6.61 billion kilowatt hours of power in the second quarter, up 6.6% from the prior year.
The Chinese coal products distributor's grid-connected power rose 7.2% year on year to 6.34 billion kWh, according to a filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Total power generation was down 1.9% to 11.8 billion kWh in the first half, with grid-connected power slipping 1.5% to 11.4 billion kWh.
