Guotai Junan International Holdings Ltd. (GTJAI), a subsidiary of Guotai Haitong Group, has announced that it achieved carbon neutrality at the operational level for the third consecutive year. The company successfully offset 609.29 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions in 2024 through the purchase of carbon credits from the Guoluo Grassland Sustainable Management Project in Qinghai Province, China. The project, certified by the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and Climate, Community and Biodiversity Standards $(CCB)$, focuses on the restoration of grassland ecosystems. GTJAI has undertaken measures such as energy-saving renovations, digitalization, and waste management to reduce its carbon footprint. The company continues to prioritize sustainable development and support the green transformation of its corporate clients.
