CITIC Securities' (SHA:600030, HKG:6030) unit, CSI MTN, issued medium-term bonds worth $1.8 million, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Saturday.
The securities company's Shanghai shares rose less than 1% during Monday's morning trade.
CITIC Securities International, a subsidiary fully owning CSI MTN, agreed to be the guarantor of the issuance.
The proceeds from the issuance will supplement the group's working capital.
