PayPal (PYPL) said Monday that it plans to support cryptocurrencies and digital wallets with a new payment option.

The option will be available to US merchants in the coming weeks and will support more than 100 cryptocurrencies and digital wallets, accounting for 90% of the $3 trillion crypto market, the company said.

Users will be able to quickly convert their cryptocurrency into stablecoins or traditional currencies, PayPal said.
