Argan, Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary, Atlantic Projects Company $(APC)$, has secured a contract with SSE Thermal, a part of SSE plc, for the engineering, procurement, and construction of the Platin Power Station in County Meath, Ireland. The project will feature three Siemens Energy SGT-800 turbines operating in open cycle mode, adding approximately 170 MW of generation capacity to the grid during periods of high demand. This contract represents the second collaboration between APC and SSE this year, highlighting a strengthening partnership. The Platin Power Station is set to enhance Ireland's energy security and support its net zero goals, with completion expected in 2028.
