Technology stocks were edging up pre-bell Monday as the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) and and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) were both up about 0.5% recently.

NiCE (NICE) shares were nearly 8% higher after the company said it has signed a deal to acquire Cognigy for about $955 million.
