ASP Isotopes (ASPI) said Friday that its offer to buy all of the ordinary shares of South African gas producer Renergen has been approved by the nation's Competition Commission.

The regulatory clearance is subject to some conditions, which are acceptable to ASP, the company said.

ASP said that, if the remaining conditions are fulfilled or waived, the scheme of arrangement is expected to become effective in Q3.
