Lucky Film (SHA:600135) started the trial production phase of the TAC film No. 3 production line after its construction was completed, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.

The plant is expected to produce 24 million square meters of TAC film every year.

The project's planned investment was 250 million yuan, and the Chinese photosensitive materials and magnetic recording media manufacturer has already invested 212.2 million yuan into the project. About 37.8 million yuan still needs to be raised to supplement the remaining investment.

The company's shares closed less than 1%.
