Yanchang Petroleum International Limited has issued a profit warning, notifying shareholders and potential investors of an expected financial loss for the six months ended 30 June 2025. The company anticipates recording a loss of approximately HK$27.9 million, marginally higher than the HK$27.3 million loss reported for the same period in the previous year. This interim loss is primarily attributed to the oil and gas production business in Canada, which incurred a loss of around HK$28.3 million. The information is based on unaudited management accounts, and the final interim results are expected to be finalized and published on or about 28 August 2025. The company's board advises caution in dealing with its securities.
