Apex Critical Metals Corp., a Canadian mineral exploration company, has launched its 2025 diamond drill program at the Cap Project in central British Columbia. The project, spanning approximately 2,500 hectares, targets carbonatite-hosted niobium and rare earth elements. It is located 85 km northeast of Prince George. The fully funded and permitted campaign will involve up to 1,500 metres of drilling, focusing on high-priority targets identified during the 2024 exploration. Initial targets include the step-out for CAP25-005, targeting the down-dip extension of a historical intercept, and CAP25-006, testing the depth of a mineralized outcrop. The drilling is conducted by Quesnel Bros. Diamond Drilling Ltd., with operations managed by Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd. Apex's CEO, Sean Charland, emphasized the project's potential scale, grade, and logistics as key factors for critical mineral development.
