Allegiant Travel Company has announced its preliminary passenger traffic results for June 2025, showing a notable increase in various metrics compared to the same period in 2024. The number of passengers in June 2025 reached 2,005,932, marking a 9.6% increase from the previous year's 1,830,067. Revenue passenger miles also rose by 9.8%, from 1,612,782,000 to 1,771,111,000. Available seat miles saw a significant increase of 12.4%, climbing from 1,862,875,000 to 2,093,547,000. However, the load factor experienced a slight decrease of 2 percentage points, from 86.6% to 84.6%. In the second quarter of 2025, Allegiant reported transporting 5,077,788 passengers, an 11.0% increase from the 4,572,769 passengers in the same quarter of 2024. Revenue passenger miles increased by 12.2%, from 4,108,288,000 to 4,610,321,000, while available seat miles rose by 16.1%, from 4,848,017,000 to 5,629,040,000. The load factor dropped by 2.8 percentage points, from 84.7% to 81.9%. The average fuel cost per gallon for June 2025 was estimated at $2.39, while the second quarter average was slightly higher at $2.42. Overall, Allegiant Travel Co. demonstrated growth in passenger numbers and capacity, despite a decrease in load factor.
