This acquisition brings the total amount of ETH purchased and committed by the company to 345,362 ETH since its launch earlier this month. This move is part of The Ether Machine's long-term strategy to accumulate ETH and reflects its belief in the cryptocurrency as a fundamental asset of the internet. The company aims to build a robust, institutional-grade ETH treasury that generates compounded yields. This purchase was funded by $97 million in cash proceeds from a previously announced private placement.
