Australian Rare Earths (ASX:AR3) has successfully closed an authorized investigation by the South Australian Department for Energy and Mining (DEM), confirming full compliance with environmental drill hole decommissioning requirements on its exploration licences, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company received confirmation from DEM on Aug. 1 that the submitted written evidence satisfied all investigation requirements, and as a result, the investigation has been officially closed, the filing said.
