The number of listings in Hong Kong during the first seven months of the year surged 33% when compared to a year earlier, Hong Kong's The Standard reported Wednesday.
A total of 53 companies listed in the city during the January to July period, raising HK$127.9 billion in proceeds -- more than sixfold when compared to last year, the report said, citing Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKG:0388, HKG:80388) data.
