Guangzhou Automobile Group or GAC Group (HKG:2238, SHA:601238) recorded an 18% and 15% drop in production and sales in July to 128,490 units and 119,482 vehicles, respectively, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Output and sales for the automaker in July 2024 had stood at a respective 156,816 units and 141,196 units.

From January to July, output fell 8.5% year over year to 930,155 vehicles, while sales slipped 13% to 874,782 units.
