Eaton Corporation plc has announced the completion of its acquisition of Resilient Power Systems Inc., a developer and manufacturer of innovative energy solutions, including solid-state transformer-based technology. This strategic acquisition aims to strengthen Eaton's power distribution offerings by integrating Resilient's high-density electrical power technology, which offers a smaller footprint compared to comparable solutions. Heath Monesmith, president and chief operating officer of Eaton's Electrical Sector, highlighted that this acquisition will support customers' needs to lower costs, improve power reliability, and increase efficiency. The move is part of Eaton's strategy to invest in new, innovative solutions for growing global markets such as data centers and energy storage.
