Vitrafy Life Sciences (ASX:VFY) said that Chief Executive Kate Munnings will retire, effective Sept. 1, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Co-founder and Deputy CEO Brent Owens will succeed Munnings, who will remain with the company as a non-executive director, the filing said.

The company's shares were down 3% in recent Tuesday trade.
