Shanghai CDXJ Digital Technology's (SHA:603887) unit, Chengdi Xiangjiang (Shanghai) Cloud Computing, signed an IDC hosting business agreement for its digital technology data center, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Friday.
The six-year contract was signed with an unnamed internet company and will be implemented in two phases, with phase I amounting to 1.81 billion yuan and phase II not exceeding 2.72 billion yuan.
The foundation engineering and construction services provider will order 2,200 high-power cabinets in the first phase, with delivery starting on Sept. 30. An additional 3,400 high-power cabinets will be ordered in phase 2.
The company's shares jumped less than 8% during midday trade.
