Air New Zealand's (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR) group capacity fell 0.7% year on year in June, according to a Friday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
Long-haul available seat kilometers (ASKs) fell 1.3%, domestic ASKs dropped 0.5%, and short-haul international ASKs increased 0.4% year on year.
The airline carried 1.4 million passengers in June, down 0.2% on the year-earlier period, per the filing.
The passenger load factor was nearly 83%, an improvement from a little over 80% a year earlier.
The company's Australia-listed shares were down almost 1% in recent Friday trade.
