Sunny Optical Technology (Group) (HKG:2382) recorded a 15% decline in the shipment volume of its handset lens sets to 98.6 million units in July from a year prior, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Shipments of handset camera modules slipped 2.9% year over year to 42.6 million units.

Vehicle lens set shipments jumped 29% from the prior-year period to 11.3 million units, mainly due to a higher customer demand.
