Alara Resources Secures Mining License in Oman

Alara Resources (ASX:AUQ) secured a mining license over the Daris 3A5 prospect, within the Daris project in Oman, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The mining license, which was awarded over a portion of Block 7, is operated by a joint venture company, Daris Resources, the filing said.

Alara Resources holds management and commercial rights in the JV, according to the filing.

Shares rose over 1% in midday trade on Tuesday.
