- The National Football League has struck a wide-reaching deal with Disney DIS.N in which it will take a 10% stake in the ESPN sports empire in return for control of key media assets including NFL Network.

- Swedish brand Polarn O. Pyret has decided to close Polarn O. Pyret USA and halt all U.S. sales by the end of the year, citing tariffs.

- Four European countries have agreed to purchase approximately $1 billion worth of U.S. military equipment for delivery to Kyiv's forces, following U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to halt direct U.S. weapons shipments to Ukraine.

- The White House is preparing to step up pressure against big banks over perceived discrimination against conservatives and crypto companies with an executive order that threatens to fine lenders that drop customers for political reasons.

- Canada's government unveiled a roughly C$1.25 billion ($907.64 million) package of measures to help the country's lumber industry face up to increased U.S. trade duties and support a drive to build homes and infrastructure.
