0831 GMT - L'Oreal should outperform the beauty market during the second half of the year, Jefferies analysts write in a research note. The French beauty group should benefit from an easier comparative base in travel retail, as well as a return to growth in China, they say. The company has taken a hit in previous years due to its high exposure to the Chinese market--representing nearly a quarter of sales in 2022--and a slowdown in demand, the analysts add. L'Oreal will be a winner in innovation, thanks to its superior research-and-development efforts, they say. Jefferies maintains its hold recommendation on the stock. Shares are flat at 384.55 euros.
