SkyCity Entertainment Group (ASX:SKC, NZE:SKC) said an independent review found that its SkyCity Adelaide unit is suitable to retain its casino license, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The review also concluded that the company is suitable to remain a close associate of SkyCity Adelaide, the filing said.
The report has also identified shortcomings in governance, anti-money laundering, and host responsibility, the filing added.
The Commissioner for Liquor and Gambling is considering the report's findings to determine the enforcement action to take, the company said.
Shares of the company rose nearly 2% in recent Tuesday trade in Australia and past 3% in New Zealand.
