CleanSpark co-founder Zachary Bradford has resigned as chief executive and a director of the bitcoin miner.

CleanSpark on Monday said Matt Schultz, co-founder and executive chairman, will take on the additional posts of president and CEO.

CleanSpark said Bradford, who had been CEO since October 2019, isn't leaving due to any disagreement with the Henderson, Nev., company on any matter related to its operations, policies or practices.

The company said it inked a separation agreement with Bradford under which he will receive $950,000, representing a year of his base salary, along with 14.4 bitcoins and roughly $1.58 million as a prorated portion of his 2025 bonus.

CleanSpark also said it will reduce the size of its board to six members from five.
