Bumitama Agri's (SGX:P8Z) attributable profit to owners surged 48% during the first half of the year to 1.2666 trillion Indonesian rupiah from 856.8 billion rupiah a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Earnings per share rose to 730 rupiah compared with 494 rupiah in the comparable period.
Revenue zoomed 28% year over year to 9.742 trillion rupiah from 7.600 trillion rupiah, mainly due to stronger palm oil prices.
The company declared an interim cash dividend of SG$0.0363 per share for the period.
Shares of the company jumped nearly 8% in recent trading.
