Zhengye International (HKG:3363) expects an attributable profit of between 1 million yuan and 3 million yuan in the first half of 2025, down from 15 million yuan a year prior, a late Aug. 8 Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Shares of the paper manufacturer were down 1% in Monday afternoon trading.
The firm attributed the forecast to uncertainties of the trading policies, weak domestic consumption, and intensified competition. The firm's gross profit margin also dropped 5% year over year.
