Open Text informed Mark Barrenechea that he has been transitioned out of his roles as chief executive, chief technology officer and vice chairman of the board.
The Canadian software company on Monday said it named James McGourlay, executive vice president, international sales, as its next interim CEO.
Open Text also appointed P. Thomas Jenkins as executive chair and chief strategy officer, as well as the establishment of an executive committee. Savinay Berry was named CTO.
Open Text formed a search committee focused on finding its next CEO. It also announced it will continue working with financial advisors on portfolio opportunities that enhance its focus on its core information management for artificial intelligence business.
