Brisbane Broncos Sees Fiscal H1 Profit Before Tax of AU$8.7 Million

Brisbane Broncos (ASX:BBL) said its group net profit before tax for the half-year ended June 30 is expected to be about AU$8.7 million from AU$6.3 million in 2024, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

In the first half of 2025, eight National Rugby League (NRL) home games were played at Suncorp Stadium, compared to seven in the prior period, where crowds averaged 40,968 compared to 41,175 on June 30, 2024.

The NRL grant increased with club funding agreements and expansion, while the Australian Rugby League Commission secured Australian Government backing for a Pacific Rugby League Partnership, adding a Papua New Guinea team, with around AU$1.8 million recognized as revenue by June 30.
