News Corp's (ASX:NWS) unit, News Australia, teamed up with the National Australia Bank-backed (ASX:NAB) Australian Football League Women's (AFLW) to launch wX, a rebranding of the mX newspaper, News Australia said in a statement Thursday.
Over 60,000 copies of wX will be available across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth to show behind-the-scenes moments during AFLW games, among others, per the statement.
The wX initiative is a collaboration among News Australia, the AFLW, and the agencies Drum and PHD.
News Corp's shares were up almost 2% in recent Thursday trade, while National Australia Bank's shares jumped 3%.
