Nexteer Automotive Group's (HKG:1316) chairman and CEO, Lei Zili, resigned effective Wednesday due to other work arrangements, a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The power steering system maker redesignated Lei to non-executive director from an executive director the same day.

The firm also named Ding Fengtao as its new chairman and CEO after redesignating him to an executive director from a non-executive director.
